The collection contains carbon copies of some 300 letters (1935-1936) typed by Slemp's secretaries, as well as two printed volumes: Memorial addresses (1908), edited by Campbell Slemp, containing eulogies delivered in the U.S. House of Representatives; and a photocopy of Sketch of the life of John C.C. Mayo (1947), by John E. Buckingham.
